While COVID prevented us from holding our traditional ceremony, I was fortunate to be included among the most recent class of inductees of the Terry Whalen Chapter of the National Honor Society at West Chester East High School.

West Chester East - Academic Team
In addition to academics in the classroom, I am a four year member of the WC East Academic Team, which competes against other area schools in a broad range of "Jeopardy" style topics, and each year, the team has done well enough to advance to a national competition in Washington, DC at the end of the school year.
WVIK - Broadcasting the News of WC East
Since 2017, I've been an integral member of the WVIK team at East, helping deliver the latest news and announcements to the student body and faculty on a daily basis. Most recently, I've been serving in the role of Studio Floor Manager, leading all activities behind the camera, ensuring that the broadcasts run smoothly, and training new members as to use of equipment and on-air procedures.

Principal Advisory Group
During my Junior and Senior years at West Chester East, I have been a member of the Principal Advisory Group, a committee of students leaders hand-selected by the school administration, and meets every few weeks to discuss important things happening in our school and provide opportunities for students and administration to interact directly with one another in a forum setting. For our school of over 1,200 students, this committee consists of only 35 students, mostly in 11th and 12th grade, and is intentionally diverse, made up of students from various backgrounds and involved in a wide range of our school's activities.
